Last night I was helping Hunter with his homework. The instructions were to color all the pictures that had the short "i" sound red, and if the word didn't have a short "i" sound then color it black. There was one picture that I couldn't quite identify what it was of, it looked to me like a woman sweeping. I had Gavin look at it to see what he thought, he f igured it out, it was a woman digging so it was a short "i" sound and Hunter got to color it red. Well then there was another picture that was slightly faded and again hard to identify but I made it out on my own it was a bag, or sack either way no "i" sound. I told Hunter okay it's a bag, this is what he said...
"No mom, it's not" -Hunter
"Yes it is" - Mom
"Hey Gavin what is this picture of?" -Hunter
"Yeah, it's a sack or bag" -Gavin
No faith in mom at all. Just a funny story, I thought.

"If I only had my two bottom teeth"
Hunter had the excitement of getting a head start on "losing" his baby teeth today. His permanent teeth came through behind on his front baby teeth, so the dentist said we better get them out now. They gave Hunter some strawberry laughing gas, numbed him up and literally two minutes later his teeth were out! This kid didn't even make a noise, or a move, he was so brave!

Welcome to Our World Jayden
Friday February 5, 2010 my sister Heather finally gave birth to her son Jayden. Everyone is so happy that not only is he finally here, but he's healthy and cute as ever!
